WebRatio website for the use of services

ACCORDING TO ARTICLES 7 AND 13 OF THE EU REGULATION N. 2016/679 (also known as GDPR)

and ACCORDING TO ARTICLES 13 AND 23 LEGISLATIVE DECREE N. 196/2003 (also known as PRIVACY CODE), as they are still applicable since compatible with the GDPR based on the Implementing Decree

 

WEBRATIO S.R.L. based in Milan (MI)-Piazzale Cadorna 10 as indicated below (Treatment), treats the personal data of individuals who intend to receive–even only by registering on the site–the services offered by WebRatio, which is indicated on the registration page or directly exposed below as well as stated in point 2 including the receipt of the newsletter.

Regarding the processing, WebRatio S.r.l. (hereinafter “WebRatio”) assumes the role of Data Controller and wishes to inform you that the legislative references concerning the protection of the processing of personal data are according to the EU Regulation n. 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”), and for the articles that do not conflict with the aforementioned Regulation as well as that will be maintained by the Implementing Decree, the Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code).

We disclose, for your information, that according to the aforementioned legislation, the processing performed by us will be based on principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency, and necessity, thereby protecting your privacy and rights.

1. OBJECT OF THE PROCESSING

The processing we intend to carry out concerns your personal data as defined by the Privacy Code and the GDPR, which we are or will become aware of owing to the registration on the site and the free WebRatio newsletter service, which will update you about the news of our services.

2. PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING AND CONSENT

The identification personal data is used to provide the following services to the interested party:

• Software download and access to training material–the generation of a personal code allowing access to the demo version of the WebRatio platform, the Add-on download center, and the knowledge base. The service keeps track of downloads and records the user's training path.
• Informative and/or promotional communication–sending commercial communication, advertising material or direct sales through automated systems (email or SMS) and/or traditional marketing methods (telephone and/or mail).
• Sending the newsletter–sending informative and promotional messages related to activities carried out by the owner.
• Dissemination of suggestions and tips about the use of the WebRatio platform through participation in the forum.
• Community animation through engagement and reward systems based on the tracking of activities carried out on the forum via the knowledge base and the My WebRatio portal.

The processing will be given based on consent freely given by you.

The provision of data is optional but refusal to provide the required data involves the possibility of not obtaining services indicated above.

3. AUTOMATED PROCESSING (PROFILES)

The data collected by WebRatio are not processed for the purpose of profiling or making automated decisions.

4. COMMUNICATION AND DIFFUSION

I dati raccolti non saranno oggetto di divulgazione e di diffusione. La comunicazione a terzi, quali responsabili, interni ed esterni a WebRatio, ed incaricati al trattamento è prevista, ove necessaria per le finalità di cui sopra. In ogni caso il trattamento da parte di soggetti terzi avverrà secondo correttezza e nel rispetto delle disposizioni di legge vigenti.

5. DATA STORAGE

We inform you that your data will be stored–starting from their receipt/update–for a reasonable period with respect to the purposes indicated in point 2, nonetheless, not beyond the termination of the services indicated therein (principle of conservation limitation, article 15 GDPR).

In any case, the right of revocation by the interested party is reserved as indicated in point 6.

We inform you that only the data related to your identification and proof of the release of consent (.log file certifying the decision to give consent to the processing), will be stored for the period deemed necessary for the purposes of WebRatio's right of defense.

6. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

WebRatio guarantees that you can exercise your rights under the GDPR at any time. In particular, you have the following data protection rights:

• Knowing if the Data Controller holds and/or processes personal data related to your person and can access it by obtaining a copy (Article 15 GDPR-Right to access).
• Rectifying incorrect personal data or the integration of incomplete personal data (Article 16 GDPR-Right of rectification)
• Erasing personal data held by the Data Controller if one of the reasons provided for by the GDPR exists (Article 17 GDPR-Right to erasure).
• Asking the Data Controller to limit the processing only to some personal data due to one of the reasons provided by regulations (Article 18 GDPR-Right to restriction of processing).
• Requesting and receiving all personal data processed by the owner in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device as well as requesting transmission to another holder without impediments (Article 20 GDPR-Right to data portability).
• Objecting, wholly or in part, to the processing of data for the purpose of sending advertising material and market research (Article 21 GDPR-Right to object).
• Objecting, wholly or in part, to the processing of data in automatic or semi-automatic modes for purposes of profiling (Article 22 GDPR-Automated individual decision-making, including profiling).

7. CONSENT REVOCATION

Your consent may be revoked at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing operations carried out prior to the revocation, by changing the user profile on the “My account” page’s “Personal Data Processing” section or by sending an email to privacy@webratio.com.
