Next September 23 in Cambridge, MA, the Object Management Group (OMG), the standard consortium that adopted IFML language designed by WebRatio, will hold an event entirely focused on OMG standards used in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
The Industrial Internet of Things is the field where loT is helping companies to improve productivity, save costs and streamline processes to professionals from all industries.
At the event, industry experts will share case studies of these standards at work in the Industrial Internet and present their vision of the future within this rapidly growing field.
WebRatio will be at the event to present a speech on how Interaction Flow Modeling Language (IFML) can be used in the IIoT field. The speech, at 3:15 pm, will be presented by Marco Brambilla, professor of software engineering at Polytechnic University of Milan in Italy and partner of WebRatio.
The speech will be titled “IFML - Internet of Things and Internet of People: The Role of User Interaction in the IIoT vision” and will describe how User Interfaces, developed with a model-driven approach thanks to IFML, are crucial in the IIoT field in order to visualize information (through dashboards, reports and infographics) computed from data taken with sensors, actuators and intelligent things connected online.
