Roberto co-founded WebRatio in 2001. Since then, he has held almost all the roles in the company: programmer, solutions analyst/developer, software factory manager, professional services manager, chief operations officer. Since 2017, Roberto has been General Manager of the company and is now the Chief Executive Officer.
Massimo is a graduate of Politecnico di Milano. He joined WebRatio in 2004 as a web applications analyst/developer and serves as head of Solutions Development, and also deals with managing commercial customers. He is now Services Director.
Stefano is a full professor of Database Systems at Politecnico di Milano; he was a visiting professor at the Computer Science Department of Stanford University between 1983 and 1992. He has received two ERC Advanced Grants (Search Computing, 2008-13 and Genomic Computing, 2016-21), has received the ACM-SIGMOD Innovation Award (2013), and is an ACM Fellow. He authored eleven international books on computer science and innovation management, including Designing Data-Intensive Web Applications (Morgan-Kaufmann, 2002) and Creating Innovation Leaders (Springer-Verlag, 2015).
Piero is a full professor of Web Technologies at Politecnico di Milano. In 2004 he was the president for the ICWE (International Conference on Web Engineering). He is co-author of the books: Designing Database Applications with Objects and Rules: the IDEA Methodology (Addison-Wesley, 1997), Designing Data-Intensive Web Applications (Morgan-Kaufmann, 2002) and Interaction Flow Modeling Language: Model-Driven UI Engineering of Web and Mobile Apps with IFML (The MK/OMG Press, 2014).
Marco Brambilla is a professor of Digital Innovation and Enterprise ICT Architectures at Politecnico di Milano. He manages several types of research and industrial innovation projects. His research interests include data science, software modeling languages, crowdsourcing, social media monitoring, data-driven innovation, and big data analysis. He has been a visiting researcher at CISCO and UCSD (USA), and a visiting professor at Dauphine University (Paris). He is one of the main authors of the OMG standard IFML. He founded 3 startups and authored over 300 papers and 5 books on modeling approaches, adopted worldwide.
