The Future of Enterprise Applications Lies in Intelligent Applications

AI-powered systems will be the tools that transform the work of every role within a company, acting as co-pilots even in strategic activities, planning, legal processes, and even commercial negotiations.

The tools that will make this revolution possible are Intelligent Applications. They will complete much of the work automatically, such as searching, organizing, updating, and modifying data, making decisions, and sending recommendations to support professionals. 

These applications will integrate Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Orchestration, Composable Architectures, and Adaptive User Experiences. These systems will automatically modify the interaction with the user based on changing predefined conditions and continuous learning by the Intelligent Application. 

Intelligent Applications and Low-Code: The Meeting Point of Visual Design and Artificial Intelligence

AI's potential can be embedded in applications built with Low-Code in two main ways:

1. Even now existing applications can become Smart by integrating with external services, as in the case of OriginalSkills' CV Screening functionality. Otherwise, new Intelligent Applications can integrate external GenAI systems right from their creation, as seen in the TCube application. 
2. In the coming years, AI will be embedded into applications using machine learning and generative capabilities included in Low-Code platforms, enabling the development of Intelligent Applications with a single tool.
   Low-Code will allow the creation of GenAI applications that provide more precise responses^[2]. Thanks to the rigorous use of metadata within generative systems on Low-Code platforms, it will be possible to more precisely define the functional scope and semantics of GenAI services.  

The convergence of these two disruptive technologies will make development even more accessible, simplifying and accelerating it. At the same time, it will allow the creation of increasingly intelligent applications that adapt perfectly to users’ needs, relieving them of time-consuming tasks and supporting them in more complex, strategic, and organizational activities.
