This year, the second edition of the International Conference on Mobile Software Engineering and Systems held by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) will take place in Florence. The conference is co-located with the 37th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE).
The two-day program will include paper and poster sessions about the future of technologies, such as mobile, wearables and IoT. There will be sessions about software quality assurance and user experience (also with tutorials), and also paper sessions about development environments and practices and an industrial session with demonstrations
WEBRATIO WILL PRESENT THE MODEL-DRIVEN APPROACH APPLIED TO MOBILE DEVELOPMENT
On May 17 at 16.30 Marco Brambilla, member of the Scientific Committee of WebRatio, and Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, will give a talk during the industrial session.
He will show our experience in implementing the Interaction Flow Modeling Language (IFML), a standard of the Object Management Group (OMG), supporting the platform-independent description of graphical user interfaces for applications accessed or deployed on such systems as desktop computers, laptop computers, PDAs, mobile phones, and tablets.
He will demonstrate, with real industrial cases, the application of IFML in mobile development through WebRatio Mobile Platform, the model-driven low-code development platform that is based on Eclipse and generates cross-platform mobile applications.
