PRIVACY POLICY - Information notice pursuant to art. 13 of the REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 – (GDPR)

 

According to the General Data Protection Regulation | GDPR, we provide you with the following information regarding the processing of your personal data.
 

DATA CONTROLLER
Pursuant to articles 4 and 24 GDPR, is WebRatio Srl, with registered office in 20123 Milano, Italy – Piazzale Luigi Cadorna n. 10 and operational headquarter in 22074 Lomazzo (CO), Italy – Via Cavour n. 2, at ComoNext Science and Technology Park, in person of its legal representative, e-mail: privacy@webratio.com, ph: (+ 39) 02 3671 4280.
 

CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

Personal Data: any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); An identifiable natural person is one who “can directly or indirectly be identified, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, a location data, an online identifier or to one or more specific factors to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity” (article 4 par. 1.1 GDPR).
In particular, the data processed are:

  • personal data (name, surname), contact details (e-mail address), company name, for registration to the event/webinar via “Zoom” form;
  • nickname, image, voice, in case of active participation via “Zoom” platform.

A) Registration to the event/webinar by filling a specific “Zoom” form and the consequent participation in the event/webinar. Use of the service promoted by the Data Controller and requested by the data subject: registration and participation in the event/webinar.

For the time necessary to allow you to participate in the event/webinar.

Necessary to perform the service.

 

Failure to provide data will prevent the Data Controller from performing the service.
B) Direct marketing through subscription to the newsletter: commercial/promotional information activities, invitations to events and/or exhibitions promoted and/or organized by the Data Controller by e-mail / newsletter.

Consent to the processing of personal data.

Until consent withdrawal | opt-out.

Optional and free. 

Failure to provide data will not prevent purpose A) from being achieved.

 

RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data processed will not be disclosed.
They may be communicated to recipients who will process the data as Data Processors (art. 28 of the EU Reg. 2016/679) and/or as natural persons acting under the authority of the Data Controller and the Data Processor (art. 29 of the Reg. EU 2016/679), or even as independent Data Controllers. Specifically, the data will be communicated to: - companies with which the Data Controller has concluded specific contracts; - entities that provide services for the management of the information system and communication networks (including e-mail); - suppliers of external platforms used for the event; - companies that support the Data Controller for marketing activities if you have given your consent; - competent authorities for the fulfillment of legal obligations and/or provisions of public bodies, upon request. The updated list of data processors is available at the registered office of the Data Controller. 

TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES

The event/webinar is organized via the “Zoom” platform, which may involve the transfer of your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Even in case of consent to the marketing activities, the Data Controller uses the services offered by an American Data Processor. In both cases, the Data Controller has evaluated the conditions underlying the data transfer and the related guarantees, through the analysis of contracts and information provided by the service providers. The transfer of data therefore takes place in compliance with the articles 44 et seq. of EU Reg. 2016/679. You are free to request further information by contacting the Data Controller at the contact details indicated above.

 

AUTOMATED PROCESS 

Personal data will be subjected to traditional manual, electronic and automated processing. It is specified that fully automated decision-making processes are not carried out.

 

DATA SUBJECT’S RIGHTS

You may exercise your rights as expressed in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, by contacting the Data Controller at the e-mail address privacy@webratio.com.
You have the right, at any time, to request the data Controller to access, rectify, cancel your personal data or limit their processing and the right to the portability of your data. In addition, in the cases provided, you have the right to withdrawal the consent given without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before withdrawal.
 
To stop receiving automated direct marketing communications (e.g. e-mail) it will be sufficient to write an e-mail at any time to privacy@webratio.com with the subject "cancellation from automated" or use our automatic cancellation systems provided for e-mails only. 

Without prejudice to any other administrative and judicial remedy, if you believe that the processing of data concerning you violates the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (https://www.garanteprivacy.it/web/guest/home_en). 

 

 

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy is effective from the "update date" indicated at the bottom of the document. The Data Controller may modify this Privacy Policy; in this case, the Data Controller will publish the updated version here and change the date of the last update (the effective date) indicated.
